Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championships

In an incredible display of bravery and strength at the 2019 SSCXW, our own Dylan Stucki won hosting rights to the world championship event for Durango and took on the role of race promoter! Like any decent officially unofficial World Championships, the Durango edition was essentially a multidisciplinary three-day stage race. The disciplines included hot dog eating, sleep deprivation, doobie firing, alley catting, bike polo, mosh pitting, Big Mac eating, push-upping, speed-beering; violent, belt-based tug–of-war, and cyclocross bicycle racing. And since its Durango, a bunch of the fastest bike racers in the country revealed that they can chug beers, wear costumes, perform feats of strength then rip all of our legs off. True professionals. Durango Cyclery was part sponsor, organizor and host of this memorable weekend.
